C-STARS Cincinnati:
The United States Air Force training platform that places a team of medical professionals on aircraft to care for critically ill patients. As part of the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM), C-STARS Cincinnati teaches 16 courses a year, with 12-18 healthcare professionals in a rigorous 2-week training course to apply skills and knowledge to deploy and care for patients worldwide. C-STARS Cincinnati works closely with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to gather data for research to better outcomes of individuals in the armed forces.
